Our Black Angus Cattle

Our cattle are 100% Black Angus and raised in a natural environment. Natural environment means open fields to roam, only grass to eat and no hormones added. We believe in letting animals be animals. We try to provide them with the most natural environment possible.

Our Pricing

If you’ve been looking around for Grass Fed Beef you probably already know that it’s difficult to understand how much you’ll be paying. Some sites try to explain live weight, hanging weight and finished weight along with processing fees, delivery fees, etc.

We have tried to simplify the entire process. Instead of making you figure everything out, we have set our price on the packaged meat you receive. For a whole cow, you will receive 300 – 400 pounds of packaged meat. We price that comparably to the price you would pay in the store if you averaged hamburger, low cut steaks and high-end steaks. Our price is $8.50 per pound of cyrovaced packaged meat you receive. You can have your order processed the way you want. The cuts of meat, thickness, number of steaks per package, pounds per package of hamburger, etc.

We provide grass fed beef that has never had any grain, antibiotics, or hormones. The eat grass that has not had any chemicals on it either. Our goal is to provide this healthy high quality meat at the same price as regular meat in the grocery store. When we go to the store we are always recording the price of steak, roasts, hamburger, etc. to make sure our meat is the same or less per pound.

How to Cook Grass Fed Beef

Some people think grass fed steaks taste terrible and have the consistency of a chew toy. There’s a place in Kansas City that only serves grass fed steaks and they have won the top steak restaurant in Kansas City three of the last six years. Our grass fed beef is definitely healthier for you but that also means it has less fat. Less fat is good for our heart but fat is what makes the juicy steaks that everyone loves. If you try to cook your grass fed steak like you do your fatty steak you will be disappointed.

However, if you prepare it according to our instructions you will get the best tasting grass fed steak you can get. Will still may not be as tender as a steak loaded with marbling (fat) but it will be close.
