If you’ve been looking around for Grass Fed Beef you probably already know that it’s difficult to understand how much you’ll be paying. Some sites try to explain live weight, hanging weight and finished weight along with processing fees, delivery fees, etc.
We have tried to simplify the entire process. Instead of making you figure everything out we have one product, a quarter of a cow in a box that includes delivery (if you are within 15 miles of downtown Kansas City). Each quarter box includes the same number of steaks, roasts, hamburger, etc. Since each cow is a little different in weight, the price of a quarter box may vary slightly in pounds and thus cost.
We provide grass fed beef that has never had any grain, antibiotics, or hormones. Our goal is to provide this healthy high quality meat at the same price as regular meat in the grocery store. When we go to the store we are always recording the price of steak, roasts, hamburger, etc. to make sure our meat is the same or less per pound for what you get in a quarter of a cow box.

How to Cook Grass Fed Beef
Our grass fed beef is definitely healthier for you but that also means it has less fat. Less fat is good for our heart but fat is what makes the juicy tasty steaks that everyone loves. If you try to cook your grass fed steak like you do your fatty steak you will be disappointed.
However, if you prepare it according to our instructions you will get the best tasting grass fed steak you can get. Will still may not be as tender as a steak loaded with marbling (fat) but it will be close.
